Realm – peripheral scenes was produced to accompany the artist's solo exhibition at Sutton Gallery, Naarm/Melbourne, in March 2023.
The book features diaristic texts by Piggott, reflecting on a cycle of paintings by Vittore Carpaccio in the Scoula Dalmata dei Santi Giorgio e Trifoni, Venezia.
